Founded in 2020 on Maltby Road in Woodinville, Compass Kids Preschool is a warm, community-rooted place where children and families are known by name. Our safe, joy-filled classrooms—with small group sizes and a caring, intentional staff—nurture confidence, creativity, and friendships that last.
We follow a vibrant play-based curriculum enriched with music, art, movement, science, and social thinking—supporting the whole child through hands-on discovery and meaningful connection.

Literacy & Math Readiness.
Children engage in storytelling, games, and hands-on activities through manipulatives that build early literacy, number sense, and language skills—all through joyful, age-appropriate play.
STEM Exploration.
From building with blocks to experimenting with water, children explore science and math concepts that develop logical reasoning, spatial skills, and inquiry-based thinking.
Process Art.
Children explore materials freely, express themselves, and strengthen motor skills—focusing on the joy of making, not the outcome. This open-ended approach nurtures confidence, decision-making and imagination.
Growing Socially & Emotionally.
Through songs, movement, group activities, and imaginative play, children learn to recognize feelings, navigate relationships, and build empathy using tools that fit their age and stage.
Recess & Snack Time.
Children run, climb, pretend, and make friends—building physical confidence, cooperation, and independence. Snack time nurtures self-reliance and language through warm, social moments.
Movement, Music & Stories.
Through dance, dramatic play, and storytelling, children develop body awareness, listening skills, and narrative thinking—while laughing, leaping, and letting imagination lead the way.
